What is Career Path Pro?

Career Path Pro is the harder edit of Career Path: eight steps instead of five, including youth teams and short loan spells that rarely make a highlight reel. The extra steps cut both ways — more information, but far more misdirection early on. It is aimed at players who find the standard mode too generous.

How to play Career Path Pro

Each puzzle is an 8-step career history — clubs, youth teams, loan spells.
Step 1 is shown. Reveal more steps to narrow it down. Guess at any time.
Guess on step 1 to max your score. Each reveal costs one point.
Wrong guesses don't end the game — only running out of steps does.
Fuzzy name matching: 'Ronaldo' matches 'Cristiano Ronaldo'.

Career Path Pro strategy

Treat the first step as noise. Pro puzzles routinely open on an academy or regional youth side that thousands of players passed through, and anchoring on it sends you down the wrong path for three or four steps. Steps three to five carry the real signal: those are the clubs a player joined once they were established, and they pin down both era and level. Loan spells are a tell of their own — a loan almost always means the player returns to the parent club next step, so you can predict the shape before you see it.

Pro puzzles often hide the answer behind a youth club from step 1 — don't anchor on it.
Mid-career clubs (steps 3-5) are usually the give-away — they map to a specific era.
If a step shows a loan spell, the next step is usually a return to the parent club.
