Career Path Pro is the harder edit of Career Path: a longer chain, with far more of the short loan spells that rarely make a highlight reel. The extra steps cut both ways — more information, but far more misdirection early on. It is aimed at players who find the standard mode too generous.

How to play Career Path Pro

1. 1Each game is a longer career history than the standard mode — more clubs, more loan spells.
2. 2Step 1 is shown. Reveal more steps to narrow it down. Guess at any time.
3. 3Solve it on step 1 for a perfect game. Every step you reveal counts against your result.
4. 4A wrong guess reveals the next step — the one that would uncover the last step ends the game.
5. 5Fuzzy name matching: 'Ronaldo' matches 'Cristiano Ronaldo'.

Career Path Pro strategy

Don't read too much into the opening step. Pro chains are long, so step 1 is only a player's first senior club, and on its own it fits hundreds of careers. The middle of the chain carries the real signal: those are the clubs a player joined once they were established, and they pin down both era and level. Loan spells are a tell of their own — a loan's years usually fall inside the spell of the last permanent club above it, so it tells you who owned the player at the time.
